Team ABK vs. Team MHC -- Which One are You?

We have a little joke here at Masako’s – Team ABK vs. Team MHC. “ABK” stands for “Ayurvedic Buzzkill,” which describes a strict, highly disciplined person that insists on following the rules of Ayurveda above enjoying worldly pleasures. “MHC” stands for “Mental Health Counts,” which describes a person who respects the need of the mind to be comforted, meaning that sometimes they skirt around Ayurvedic rules to enjoy life. So which one are you? Would you consider yourself more strict or more disciplined? Do you diligently stick to healthy diet protocols, or do you let yourself have a little fun when you want to? Whether you’re Team ABK or Team MHC, keep in mind that there’s a time and place for both. Sometimes it’s best to adhere strictly to the rules of Ayurveda, but sometimes it’s necessary to let yourself enjoy life a little. Do your best to maintain a healthy balance of both Team ABK and Team MHC.
