How to Stop That After Lunch Fatigue in 2 Steps

That after lunch fatigue is a productivity killer isn't it?  Try these 2 solutions and let me know if you can replicate good results.  I did my taxes without drinking coffee for the first time in 30 years!  I must say that it seems that you need to eat some kind of starch and or fat to get this to work.  My staple was organic bbq kettle chips and these coconut truffles from Whole Foods before I used this method.

The first part of this remedy is to make yourself a tea of digestive herbs.  I like the herbs of cumin, cardamom, coriander and fennel.  I use a 1/4 tsp of each then pour very hot water in a 6 to 8 oz tea cup or mug.  Let it steep for 5 minutes or until it is cool enough to drink but still warm. 

The second part of this remedy comes after the first remedy wears off in about 2 hours and you need your brain to work again is to mix 1 Tbsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar in room temperature water and drink it.

My theory is to eat a carb and a fat then extract the energy out of them with these digestives.
